JSIILK (Jurnal Sistem Informasi dan Ilmu Komputer) is a scholarly journal that upholds a peer-review process as part of its commitment to academic quality and integrity. This publication ethics statement outlines the ethical standards expected of all parties involved in the publishing process, including authors, the editor-in-chief, editorial board members, peer reviewers, and the publisher.
This policy is guided by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) Code of Conduct and Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors, as well as the current COPE Core Practices recognized globally.
JSIILK is committed to promoting honesty, objectivity, and scientific responsibility throughout the entire publication process—from manuscript submission to final publication—in order to ensure that each article published contributes meaningfully to the advancement of knowledge and society.
Ethical Guidelines for Journal Publication

As the official publisher of JSIILK (Jurnal Sistem Informasi dan Ilmu Komputer), Publikasi National takes full responsibility for overseeing every stage of the publication process with the highest standards of integrity and professionalism. All commercial activities—such as advertising, reprints, or sponsorships—have no influence whatsoever on editorial decisions.
Publikasi National, together with the editorial board, supports transparent communication with other journals or publishers when necessary, in order to uphold the quality, consistency, and ethics of the publishing process.
- Publication Decisions – The editor of JSIILK is solely responsible for deciding which manuscripts submitted to the journal are suitable for publication, based on academic quality, originality, relevance to the journal's scope, and value to readers and researchers, while complying with legal requirements related to libel, copyright infringement, and plagiarism.
- Fair Evaluation – Manuscripts are evaluated solely on the basis of scholarly content, without regard to the authors’ race, gender, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, ethnic background, nationality, or political ideology.
- Confidentiality – The editor and all editorial staff are required to maintain strict confidentiality concerning submitted manuscripts and related information.
- Disclosure and Conflicts of Interest – Editors must not use unpublished materials for personal research without explicit written permission from the author and must avoid any situation that could create a conflict of interest.
Reviewers
- Contribution to Editorial Decisions – Peer reviewers assist editors in making informed publication decisions and provide constructive feedback to improve manuscript quality.
- Timeliness – Reviewers are expected to respond promptly to review invitations and inform the editor if they are unable to complete the review within the expected timeframe.
- Confidentiality – Manuscripts received for review must be treated as strictly confidential and must not be disclosed to any third party.

Authors

- Originality and Plagiarism – Authors must ensure that their work is entirely original and properly cite or quote the work of others.
