Author Guidelines
General Requirements:
Manuscripts submitted to JSIILK (Jurnal Sistem Informasi dan Ilmu Komputer) must contain original contributions that have not been published previously and are not currently being reviewed by other journals. Articles should address topics within the domains of information systems and computer science, including but not limited to information system design and development, software engineering, database and data management, decision support and enterprise systems, human–computer interaction, IT governance, digital transformation, e-government, data analytics, applied artificial intelligence, cloud-based systems, internet of things (IoT), and information security.
Besides research-oriented studies, JSIILK also welcomes applied and practice-based manuscripts originating from internship activities, fieldwork programs (KKP), or project implementations, as long as they clearly present the applied methodology, system architecture, implementation process, and evaluation results. All submissions must follow the journal’s author guidelines, be written in clear and appropriate English, and comply with recognized scientific and publication ethics. Literature review or review-only articles are not accepted for publication in this journal.
Originality and Exclusivity
Submissions must be entirely original and have not been previously published, in whole or in part, in any journal, book, or other medium. Manuscripts must not be under consideration, submitted, or in review by another publication at the time of submission to JSIILK.
Anonymity for Peer Review
In line with our double-blind review policy, manuscripts must be submitted without any identifying author information. Do not include names, institutional affiliations, or email addresses within the manuscript file. Instead, these details must be accurately filled out during the submission process in the metadata section of the journal’s system.
Formatting Requirements
All manuscripts must be prepared using Microsoft Word and follow these formatting guidelines:
Margins: Top; Left; Bottom; and Right — 2 cm
Font: Calisto MT, size 12
Line spacing: 1.15
Alignment: Justify
Authors are strongly encouraged to use the official JSIILK template, which can be downloaded from the journal’s website. Manuscripts that do not conform to this format may be returned for technical revision before entering the peer review process.
Submission Procedure
All manuscripts must be submitted exclusively through the Open Journal System (OJS). Submissions via email will not be processed under any circumstances.
Editorial Rights
The Editorial Team reserves the right to make editorial changes to the manuscript, including adjustments for clarity, style, and formatting, without altering the substance or meaning of the content.
By submitting a manuscript to JSIILK, authors agree to comply with all submission and ethical guidelines set by the journal to maintain the integrity and quality of academic publishing.
