JPAME (Jurnal Praktik Akuntansi, Manajemen, dan Ekonomi) is a scholarly journal that upholds a peer-review process as part of its commitment to academic quality and integrity. This publication ethics statement outlines the ethical standards expected of all parties involved in the publishing process, including authors, the editor-in-chief, editorial board members, peer reviewers, and the publisher.

This policy is guided by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) Code of Conduct and Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors, as well as the current COPE Core Practices recognized globally.

JPAME is committed to promoting honesty, objectivity, and scientific responsibility throughout the entire publication process—from manuscript submission to final publication—in order to ensure that each article published contributes meaningfully to the advancement of knowledge and society.


Ethical Guidelines for Journal Publication

The publication of articles in a peer-reviewed journal such as JPAME serves as a fundamental pillar in the development of a credible, structured, and widely respected body of knowledge. Publisher and Editor

As the official publisher of JPAME, Publikasi National is fully responsible for overseeing every stage of the publication process with the highest standards of integrity and professionalism. All commercial activities, including advertising, reprints, or sponsorships, have no influence on editorial decisions.

  • Publication Decisions: Editors are responsible for deciding which manuscripts are suitable for publication based on academic quality, originality, relevance to the journal’s scope, and contribution to the field.
  • Fair Evaluation: Manuscripts are evaluated solely on scholarly merit without discrimination.
  • Confidentiality: Editors and editorial staff must maintain strict confidentiality regarding submitted manuscripts.
  • Disclosure and Conflicts of Interest: Editors must not use unpublished materials for personal research and must avoid conflicts of interest.

Reviewers

  • Contribution to Editorial Decisions: Reviewers assist editors by providing objective, constructive, and timely evaluations.
  • Timeliness: Reviewers should promptly notify the editor if they are unable to complete a review within the assigned timeframe.
