Author Guidelines

General Requirements

Manuscripts submitted to the JAMET (Jurnal Akuntansi, Manajemen, dan Ekonomi Terapan) must present original works, have not been previously published, and are not under consideration for publication in other journals. Submitted articles should be relevant to the fields of accounting, management, and applied economics, particularly those addressing organizational practices in public sector institutions, private organizations, and micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). Topics may include, but are not limited to, financial accounting and reporting, public sector accounting, internal control systems, financial governance and accountability, human resource management, office administration, administrative systems and procedures, digitalization of administrative processes, organizational performance, risk management, compliance, and applied economic studies.

In addition to research-based articles, JAMET also accepts applied and practice-oriented manuscripts derived from academic field activities, such as Kerja Kuliah Praktik (KKP) or professional practice, provided that the manuscripts are developed into scientific articles with clear objectives, data sources, analytical frameworks, and practical implications. Each manuscript must be prepared in accordance with the journal’s author guidelines and adhere to established scientific and ethical standards. Purely conceptual papers or literature review–only articles are not accepted for publication in this journal.

Originality and Exclusivity

Submissions must be entirely original and have not been previously published, in whole or in part, in any journal, book, or other medium. Manuscripts must not be under consideration, submitted, or in review by another publication at the time of submission to JAMET.

Anonymity for Peer Review

In line with the double-blind review policy, manuscripts must be submitted without any identifying author information. Do not include names, institutional affiliations, or email addresses within the manuscript file. Instead, these details must be accurately filled out during the submission process in the metadata section of the journal’s system.

Formatting Requirements

All manuscripts must be prepared using Microsoft Word and follow these formatting guidelines:

  • Margins: Top, Left, Bottom, and Right 2 cm
  • Font: Calisto MT, size 12
  • Line Spacing: 1.15
  • Alignment: Justify

Authors are strongly encouraged to use the official JAMET template, which can be downloaded from the journal’s website. Manuscripts that do not conform to this format may be returned for technical revision before entering the peer review process.

Submission Procedure

All manuscripts must be submitted exclusively through the Open Journal System (OJS). Submissions via email will not be processed under any circumstances.

Editorial Rights

The Editorial Team reserves the right to make editorial changes to the manuscript, including adjustments for clarity, style, and formatting, without altering the substance or meaning of the content.
